About the Company

Our client designs and installs integrated recycling and material handling systems for industrial and manufacturing clients across North America—helping factories manage their waste and recycling. They provide end-to-end solutions to collect, move, and process scrap materials like paper, cardboard, and dust, offering equipment such as balers, shredders, and dust collection systems. Acting as a one-stop shop, they design, supply, install, and service complete systems that improve efficiency and reduce waste.

In this role, you will coordinate installation projects, ensuring equipment, materials, and teams are scheduled effectively. You’ll work closely with engineering, installation crews, suppliers, and customers to support projects from planning through installation. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Engineering Manager, with occasional travel across Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage installation project schedules to ensure projects are executed on time

  • Coordinate staffing resources, including internal installation teams and external contractors

  • Organize shipping schedules and logistics for equipment, materials, and project components

  • Support safety-related coordination for installation projects

  • Arrange rental equipment and supporting services required for installation activities

  • Coordinate activities between engineering, installation crews, account managers, suppliers, and customer contacts

  • Assist with installation planning and site preparation

  • Monitor project timelines and proactively identify scheduling conflicts or potential delays

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and tracking records

  • Support the Engineering Manager with the coordination and execution of multiple concurrent installation projects

  • Occasionally visit local client sites (with an Account Manager) to observe installations and better understand project scope

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ideally, 4- 5 years of experience in project coordination or project support

  • Experience in industrial, construction, mechanical, or equipment installation projects is considered a strong asset

  • Must have a solid understanding of installation processes (not deeply technical, but able to follow and coordinate effectively)

  • Experience with contractor coordination, equipment logistics, and site scheduling

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or site plans is an asset

  • Experience with project scheduling tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar systems

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate via phone and email with internal teams and customers

  • Comfortable interacting with customers in a scheduling and coordination capacity (site visits alongside Account Managers)

  • University degree in engineering or a college technical/engineering program is considered an asset

  • PMP designation is not required

Travel

  • Approximately 25% travel to customer sites across Canada and the United States

  • A valid passport and the ability to travel to the U.S. are required
