The Opportunity: Cloud Bookkeeper
You will provide full-cycle bookkeeping services for the incorporated clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clear financial reporting. From reconciliations to reporting, you’ll play a key role in building the solid financial foundation clients need to thrive.
We Want to Meet You If You:
Are CPB Certified
Have 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a bookkeeping or accounting practice
Bring 2+ years of Canadian full-cycle paperless cloud bookkeeping experience
Hold a post-secondary diploma or certificate in a relevant field (asset)
Have prior work-from-home experience with a dedicated workspace and high-speed internet
Are high-energy, detail-oriented, and love working with people
Take pride in delivering quality work and seeing projects through from start to finish
Communicate clearly—both written and verbal—and enjoy building client relationships
Bring a cheerful, optimistic, “can-do” attitude to your team every day
What You’ll Be Doing:
Validate and verify source data, maintain general ledgers
Perform reconciliations (bank, credit card, assets, liabilities, sub-ledgers)
Complete month-end closing, adjusting and accrual entries
Conduct trial balance reviews, investigate discrepancies, and prepare reports
Handle compliance returns and filings (HST, GST, Payroll, WSIB, EHT)
Deliver financial reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
Prepare year-end working papers and coordinate with tax accountants
Collaborate with a small, friendly team and contribute to client success stories

The Details:
Salary: $55,000–$65,000/year, commensurate with experience
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
Location: Fully remote (must work EST hours)
