Marketing Services Manager - Full-time / Hybrid / One-Year Maternity Leave

We are looking for an Experienced Marketing Services Manager for an Oakville-based business that designs, manufactures, and distributes innovative Home Organization products to retailers in Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia.  This is a place where innovative minds thrive and make things happen for consumers around the globe. The products make life easier and bring harmony to the lives of consumers. 

The focus of this position will be graphic design for digital and print, overseeing photo shoots along with branding, and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Art direction
    • Guide/direct in-house photographer and oversee photo shoots for packaging and/or online content needs
    • Create floorplan studio layouts for photoshoots
    • Guide, and direct video content creation (through 3rd party provider) for online content support

 

  • Marketing strategic development
    • Create plans for online branding and selling/promo initiatives
    • Guide packaging design
    • Coordinate marketing campaigns 

 

  • Company website and social media
    • Managing the website look and feel on Shopify Platform
    • Create fresh content 
    • Manage Social media initiatives via FB and Instagram

 

  • Project management
    • Manage photographic priorities and shoot schedule/timetable
    • Coordinate guide and direct external copywriters
    • Coordinate guide and manage of P/T graphic designer to edit original photography into a finished/published state 

 

  • Amazon Support
    • Coordinate product content including photography, video and copy to achieve A+ content mandate
    • Store within a store to be maintained; champion the content - photo, video, art direction, copywriting piece end to end

 

  • Sellsheet creation
    • Development (layout and content) of sell sheets for all new products for sales purposes
    • Work with sales, photography, copywriter, and Product Development teams to coordinate required elements

 

  • Photo libraries 
    • Organizing content
    • Filtering, approving, and administrating all assets online

 

  • Presentations (PowerPoint)
    • Layout assistance and visual enhancement
    • Improving our storytelling through visually appealing imagery and keywords and phrases to help all presentations flow 

 

 

Job Skills :

  • Adobe Suite (Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop/PremierePro) Software knowledge - Must Have
  • Web design (familiar with navigating Shopify or Amazon storefront platforms) - Must Have
  • People management (adept at juggling internal and external relations) - Strong preference for demonstrated positive leadership skills
  • Secondary Education in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Fashion Design - Valuable 
  • Priority setting, scheduling skills 
  • Organized with the ability to train and organize others
  • Strategic thinking and critical thinking
