We are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic (Millwright light) to support the preventative maintenance and repair of production machines that require adjustments, tinkering, love, and attention from a mechanically inclinedSuper-Tinkerer; and a Fixer who will work within a small Maintenance team. Motivation and an inquisitive mind that loves to problem solve complex machinery challenges and a willingness to talk after hours or hop onto Group Chats will go a long way to gel with the team. This is a longstanding Hamilton-based company that manufactures high-quality brushes for a diverse set of industries. 

Responsibilities: 

• Support production floor with maintenance and troubleshooting on lathes, presses, and proprietary brush-making machinery
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance Schedule to ensure machines are operational at all times.
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns
• Some assistance with welding and fabrication and the basic electrical troubleshooting

Requirements: 

• History with machinery fixes and repairs
• Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance ideal
• Knowledge of low-voltage control panels
• experience with hand & power tools
• Use of machine shop measurement tools (Such as Calipers, Gauges, and Micrometers)
• Auto-CAD or other drawing software is an asset, and CNC programming is an asset
• Recent Grad from Technical Skilled Program- looking for full-time employment
• Live in or in close proximity to Hamilton, ON
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and a desire to learn!
