Bilingual Office Manager (French/English)

This Burlington based business is an agricultural and pharmaceutical firm in fast growth mode.

They are looking for a fluently bilingual Office Manager (French/English) - this is a must-have requirement for this role.

This is a very exciting newly created position for a high energy professional that is suited to an entrepreneurial work environment. The duties will evolve but the starting point will include the following: 

  • The Office Manager will report to the CEO and VP Finance 
  • Accounging and bookkeeping  support, intially expense driven, A/P A/R using QuickBooks, wiring funds, record keeping, purchase orders, then duties will evolve to revenue driven
  • Work with Accounting Firm and Legal firm, reporting, contracts etc
  • Manage day to day budgets, expenses, meeting management, travel booking with agent
  • Calendar management, some email management
  • French language duties on demand, translation of documents from french to english
  • Assist with Industrial and Investor relations, media relations, press releases
  • A Jack of all Trades during the growth phase
  • Evolution will drive this role
  • This person will be the centre of contact in the office every day.
